CONSTRUCTION PROJECT UPDATE – CHAMPIONS LAKES
It’s been a long journey, but we’re excited to share that the brickwork on the new centre has now “finally” completed. While delays have been challenging—thanks to the current workplace conditions and a shortage of available bricklaying teams—we’re happy to see things moving forward.
Looking ahead, the timber roof framing has kicked off this week, with some impressive and sizeable structures being implemented. IQ Constructions has assured us that we’ll see significant progress over the next two months, so we’re eagerly anticipating even more development as we approach our target handover date in late July 2025.
As for the building’s looks, the tall facade walls facing Lakes Road and McNeil Road are set to make a bold statement, while the warm, chocolate mottle brickwork at the entrance from McNeil Road will create a nurturing, homely feel for the centre – just what young ones need.
